1st 2010 Vacatiion Part I

I'm in the middle of my first vacation of 2010. I left my residence in Salt Lake City with Vannesa, my girlfriend, to visit my family in the beautiful state of Washington. Our plane was a little late, but only with a delay of about 20 minutes. While up in the air, I asked her to marry me, and she accepted, so we landed in Portland Oregon engaged to each other.
We then visited a couple of places in Vancouver Washington where I lived when I was really young. One of the people that we visited was a man who lived next door to me while I was there. We hadn't had any contact in 11 years, so I wasn't sure if he would remember me, but he did, and we spend what little time we had catching up a bit.
We then drove to my family's place of residence, and we were all excited to see each other. My family finally got to meet their future daughter-in-law and Vannesa got to meet her future in-laws as well.
Today was spent spending time with each other, and having fun. We watched a couple of movies, and did some other things together. We're only halfway through the trip, so we're looking forward to having lots more fun.

2009 in a Nutshell

2009 was overall a good and productive year. I completed my full-time mission in the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mission in January. I was able to baptize my little sister in February. In March I moved to Utah and prepared to go to college. I had the opportunity to go out with several wonderful girls. In August I started dating a wonderful young woman named Vannesa, and we just connected. At this point in time, we are pretty serious in our relationship, and chances are pretty good that the relationship is going to continue to progress. In September, I started college at LDS BUSINESS COLLEGE where I'm working on getting an Associate's degree in the field of Accounting. I completed my first semester in early December. 2009 has been a good year for accomplishments. I wish everyone a wonderful 2010!
